A survey of the marketing analysts of the PULS agency among people in Germany who bought a new car in 2020, finds that supporters of the German Greens are ahead of supporters of the other parties when it comes to buying an SUV. Every sixth supporter of the Greens said he or she bought an SUV — that type of car which has been made the special enemy image of ecologists and Greens because of its high gasoline consumption!

The PULS survey confirms what the Federal Environment Agency has noted as well: As the Sunday edition of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported yesterday, the Agency has found in a survey that particularly those strata of the population are using up resources disproportionally “among whom positive views on the environment are widespread along with awareness that a restricted use of resources is necessary.” For the others.
