US Seizes Iranian News Websites

The US Justice Department announced yesterday the seizure of websites operated by Iranian news organizations, including PressTV, for allegedly violating US sanctions. A total of 33 websites operated by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union in .com domains were seized, along with three more operated by Kataib Hezbollah in Iraq. These organizations are all “Specially Designated Nationals” because they are owned or controlled by the IRGC which the Trump Administration designated a terrorist organization.
