China Attacks EU Discrimination of Imports

Earlier this month, the European Commission released a so-called Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which would be detrimental to Chinese exports. A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment responded that this unilateral measure would turn the climate issue into a trade issue.
