Wholesale prices in Germany were 10% up in June compared with June 2020, and 1.5% higher than in May. The year-on-year figure is the highest since the second oil crisis in 1981. According to the German statistical bureau in Wiesbaden, the main drivers are mineral oil products, with price rises of more than 30%.
