South China Morning Post reports today that the European Union’s imports from Xinjiang more than doubled over the first half of this year, despite the constant lies about China’s “genocide” and “forced labor” against the Uighurs in Xinjiang, and sanctions imposed by the U.S. which constrict purchase of goods originating in Xinjiang.
Shipments to the EU rose by 131% year-on-year in the first six months, compared with a 35% increase in exports from China as a whole to the EU, according to calculations by SCMP, based on Chinese customs data.
