European media have given high emphasis to the report that an all-time European temperature record of 48.8° Celsius (119.8° F) was measured in Syracuse, Sicily, this week, in order to feed the doomsday climate narrative. Soon, this proved to be another swindle, similar to the one in Vancouver at the end of June, when all world media wrongly reported that a 50° C (122° F) temperature had been measured. In the case of Vancouver, scientists reported that the temperature had been measured by a thermometer close to the asphalt behind a supermarket.
