Gazprom owner company reports that construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was fully completed on the morning of Sept.10. “At a morning operational meeting of Gazprom, Chairman of the Board Alexey Miller said that at 8:45 Moscow time, the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline has been fully completed,” the statement said.
The pipeline will come into service later this year.
According to Gazprom, 5.6 billion cubic meters of gas can be supplied through the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline this year. Its total capacity is 55 billion cubic meters per year, flowing from the coast of Russia through the Baltic Sea to Germany, to provide the EU.
