Russian National Security Adviser Nikolai Patrushev visited India at the head of a Russian delegation, as a follow-up to a phone conversation Prime Minister Modi had with President Putin on August 24.at the request of Prime Minister Modi. In addition to the Indian Prime Minister, Patrushev also met with Foreign Minister Jaishankar and Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. Much of the discussion dealt with Afghanistan.
