U.S. Vaccination Rate Continues To Climb, But Still in Single Digits for Many Nations

In the United States, the rate of daily vaccinations has increased at a slow but steady rate since mid-July. At that time, 55% of Americans had received at least one shot. Today, that figure is 61% But as the U.S., with 52% of its population fully vaccinated, hoards vaccines to use for booster shots, Indonesia has 13% of its people fully vaccinated, Zimbabwe, South Africa and India have around 10 or 11%, Egypt has 3%, and Nigeria has less than 1%.
