Madman Pompeo Lectures the World on Good and Evil

It is perhaps fitting that Mike Pompeo, Trump’s Secretary of State, who sabotaged Trump’s intention to bring the U.S. into a friendly relationship with Russia and China, and who, together with the military-industrial complex, refused to end the “endless wars” which Trump demanded be ended, was given the “Richard Nixon Foundation’s 2021 Architect of Peace Award,” an award bearing the name of the man who waged genocidal wars across Indochina. Trump’s National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien shared the award with Pompeo, for the “Abraham Accords” which reduced Palestinians to Bantustan status in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

Before the ceremony, Pompeo was interviewed on Fox News, issuing these words of wisdom:

• “At its very core, what the Biden administration fails to understand is there is a harsh reality out there, that there is evil and there is good.”

• “I think the world is very worried. I think they see the first nine months, and they are very concerned that America is leaving the international stage.”

• “If you don’t make clear that you’re going to be an unbreakable ally of the state of Israel, then the Iranians will provide rockets to Hamas in the Gaza Strip and they will fire them into the state of Israel.”

• “[If you] give the Russians access to European markets ..., you put America at risk.”
