Yesterday marked the end of the first week of the fiendish COP26 conference, and focused on creating “more sustainable land use and agriculture.”
During this “Nature and Land Use Day,” 45 nations pledged “urgent action and investment to protect nature and shift to more sustainable ways of farming” and “95 high profile companies from a range of sectors commit to being ‘Nature Positive’, agreeing to work towards halting and reversing the decline of nature by 2030.”
According to the UN’s COP26 website, “Examples of national commitments aligned with this agenda include:
