A summary of a UN Development Program (UNDP) report published on Antiwar.com Nov. 23 underscores the horrific toll the ongoing U.S.-backed Saudi war against Yemen has taken on that nation’s population—particularly its children. The report estimates that by year’s end, the war will have killed 377,000 people, 150,000 of whom will have died due to direct violence and war, while preventable disease and starvation will account for 60% of the total death toll.
