Valdai Club president Sergei Karaganov said that the Putin-Biden talk is good news, but Biden won’t be able to sign an agreement.
In an interview with formiche.net, Karaganov said the talk “is good news,” adding that “America is a partner and we need to talk to it. If we were to listen to Western propaganda we would think we were on the verge of a world war.”
He continued: “Fortunately, also thanks to this meeting, there is a cooling down in progress. I wouldn’t expect any major breakthroughs, however. Biden is a professional. But even if he could be convinced to sign an agreement, they would not allow him to do so.”
