Partial Review of BRI Results in 2021

Xinhua has a review of the most important results of the BRI in the Asia-Pacific in 2021, in terms of completed or inaugurated infrastructures. The list is impressive, although partial and leaving out BRI achievements in Africa and Latin America. Starting with the China-Laos railway, it goes through the training-vocational school in Gwadar, Pakistan, which can offer training opportunities for 1000 people every year, the national stadium in Cambodia, the last continuous beam on the Nr. 2 super-large bridge of the Jakarta-Bandung HSR which cuts travel between the two cities from more than three hours to 40 minutes; the near-completion of the Dream Padma Bridge, a 6.15 km mega rail-road bridge in Bangladesh; inauguration of the Metro line in Hanoi; and the famous Hambantota port in Sri Lanka became the country’s first port conforming to internationally-recognized integrated management system standards in november. https://english.news.cn/20211229/516546f1116f4728b71d07162f3218a6/c.html.
