Interviewed on CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday (Dec. 26), Vice President Kamala Harris, when asked if the Russian troops on the border with Ukraine mean that “we [are] going to see a hot war in Europe in the next few weeks,” waved around the threat of a financial siege against Russia.
Harris blithely answered that “we are having direct conversations with Russia” and President Putin, and have made it clear that we will stand up for Ukraine’s territorial integrity, “and we’ve been very clear that we are prepared to issue sanctions like you’ve not seen before…. I’m not going to talk about specific sanctions, but we are making that clear to him…. And I’ll repeat that the type of sanctions that we’re talking about, are sanctions that we’ve not done before.”
Harris was no more in reality when blustering about domestic issues. Omicron? We’re prepared, everyone should just go get vaccinated or get their booster shots. Will Omicron hit the economy so hard that a new relief bill will be needed? We’re “proud” of our economic success, responded Kamala. And that “success” will get even better when the monster “Build Back Better” Green New Deal bill which West Virginia’s Sen. Manchin just shot down, passes. Why does she think it will be passed? Because “Goldman Sachs just today said that, actually, we know that BBB will strengthen the economy.”
Evidently for Kamala, what Goldman Sachs wants, Goldman Sachs gets.
