Indonesia is not the only Southeast Asian nation refusing to accept that the world be divided into blocs for and against Russia (and then China). Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, upon his return on March 22 from an official visit to Hanoi, stated that both Vietnam and Malaysia do not support sanctions against Russia, and remain “neutral” on the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
