Medvedev Warns of Consequences of Trying To Crush Russia: ‘A Big Nuclear Bang’

Former Russian President and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev (2008-2020), and currently Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, warned American strategists in a biting commentary posted today to his Telegram account, that perhaps they should think, for once, of the consequences of continuing their 30-year policy of treating nuclear-armed Russia as the enemy.

American strategists did not care when they left other countries in “blood, ruins, policy and economic devastation” by their “senseless wars.” Now Russia is the target of that game. “Russia must be humiliated, limited, shaken, divided and destroyed. How will this resonate in the near future in Europe and in the world as a whole? Never mind. Nobody ever even thought about it,” he wrote.

But what results if America succeeds in its intent to cause a systemic political and economic crisis in Russia? If this “huge, very complex country” is weakened and splits apart?

“The largest nuclear power with an unstable political regime, weak leadership, a collapsed economy and the maximum number of nuclear warheads aimed at targets in the U.S. and Europe. Or, in general, five or six `new countries’ in the place of Russia, as they dreamed overseas in the ’90s, where each such `country’ has its own strategic weapon.…

“This is the real prospect of such a strategy. And then the next goal is the total weakening of China. And then there are only a couple of steps left before the most severe global crisis, the energy and food collapse, the failure of all collective security systems and, soon, the Big Nuclear Bang, which opens the way to a new universal singularity — to the Underworld.

“How do you like this prospect, gentlemen? Great plan! Bravo, strategists from the State Department and the Capitol! Bravo, K Street Analysts! Bravo, senior members of the Senate, bravo Mr. President!” Medvedev wrote.

He concluded with an alternative outcome: “Russia will never allow such a development of events … unlike the American establishment, which wants the end of our Motherland, Russia wants to see the United States as a strong and intelligent country, and not the last refuge of those who gradually fall into senile insanity. A responsible state that performs all the functions of a great power. A state that is trying to solve its many internal problems, and does not undermine the development of other countries. All this is possible.” https://t.me/medvedev_telegram/15 , https://vk.com/dm
