Col. Gen. Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, warned March 19 that the nationalist groups in Ukraine are planning chemical attack in several Ukrainian regions in case Russian troops enter these territories. He said that nationalists have placed mines in ammonia and chlorine storage tanks at a chemical plant in Sumy and are planning a chemical provocation in the Nikolayev region by placing toxic chemicals in a school building.
