Russian Military Destroys Ukrainian Rocket Launchers Firing from a Residential Area in Kiev

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov reported yesterday that long-range Russian precision weapons took out multiple rocket launchers the Ukrainian forces had placed in the vicinity of a shopping mall in Kiev. “Hiding behind dwelling quarters in Kiev’s suburb of Vinogradar, Ukrainian nationalist units have been conducting fire from multiple missile launcher missiles [sic] at Russian servicemen for several days,” he said, reported TASS. According to Konashenkov, a nearby shopping mall was used as a depot for munitions and missiles. “Russia’s reconnaissance confirmed via several channels the coordinates of the position of Ukrainian multiple missile launcher systems and the munitions depot. In the night on March 21, a battery of Ukrainian multiple missile launcher systems and a munitions depot in the shopping mall were destroyed by high-precision long-range weapons,” he said. He said that Ukrainian nationalists continue to use dwelling quarters in cities and social infrastructure facilities as a human shelter to deploy their artillery systems and shell Russian troops.

The fiction writers in the Western corporate media hysterically claimed that Russia was bombing civilian neighborhoods in Kiev, but video posted by the Russian military shows not only the rocket launchers firing from fields adjacent to built-up areas but a Russian strike on the same vehicles next to what was reportedly an abandoned hotel being used by the Ukrainians as a weapons depot. The impact of the Russian weapon is followed by a huge secondary explosion as stockpiled ammunition detonates.
