Sitting inside the U.S. National Security Council is an inter-agency task force called the “Tiger Team” which has been planning the current war in Ukraine since at least last November. This was revealed in an interview in the Swiss online newspaper Zeitgeschehen im Fokus with Swiss security expert and Swiss Army Col. Jacgues Baud (ret.), who gives a comprehensive review of the Ukrainian crisis as provoked by aggressive anti-Russian policies of the U.S. and NATO. Baud compared the Biden Administration’s intentions in the crisis with the George W. Bush Administration’s lies to justify the war against Iraq (but apparently leaving out the British Empire role). In Biden’s case it is this so-called “Tiger Team.”

Baud said: “From early February, the U.S. has repeatedly said the Russians were about to attack. They spread scenarios of an attack. Antony Blinken spoke to the UN Security Council and explained how the Russian attack will play out. He knew that from the intelligence services. This is reminiscent of the situation in 2002/2003 before the attack on Iraq. Here, too, one allegedly relied on the analysis of the secret services. That wasn’t true then either. Because the CIA was not convinced of the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. So Rumsfeld wasn’t leaning on the CIA….

“In relation to Ukraine, Blinken did exactly the same. You can tell by the fact that no one from the CIA has commented on it. U.S. analysts have noticed that the intelligence services have not made an appearance in this connection. Everything Blinken said came from a group he had formed himself within his department – a so-called Tiger Team…. So, so-called experts have invented a certain scenario with a political agenda. So the rumor arose that the Russians would attack. So Joe Biden said he knew the Russians would attack on February 16th. When asked how he knew, he replied that the U.S. has good intelligence capabilities. He made no mention of the CIA or national intelligence….”

Instead of a Russian attack on Ukraine on Feb. 16, Baud said, “on this day we see an extreme increase in ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian military along the ceasefire line, the so-called line of contact” with the breakaway republics in the Donbas. All of which was logged by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Baud also pointed to the massive Ukrainian military buildup along the line of contact and the earlier announcement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of his intention to retake Crimea militarily. The last straw for the Russians was the announcement by Zelenskyy that Ukraine would consider building nuclear weapons, on Feb. 19.
