Pope Warns in Easter Mass of Danger of Nuclear War

In an outdoor Easter Mass today, Pope Francis spoke of the suffering of war in Ukraine and other parts of the world, and warned of the danger of extinction through nuclear war, quoting from a 1955 declaration attributed to Albert Einstein and Bertrand Russell: “Shall we put an end to the human race, or shall mankind renounce war?”
