British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on April 13 one of the most disgusting — if typical — British imperial actions, that single men and women seeking asylum in the Britain, coming across the English Channel, will henceforth be sent 4,500 miles away to Rwanda, where they will be housed in one of Rwanda’s six refugee camps, which already hold 140,000 refugees. Home Secretary Priti Patel signed the deal in Rwanda.
A “nationality and borders” bill is also being considered in the House of Commons to criminalize crossing the Channel, subject to up to four years in prison.
