EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is in India as the European Union’s “Merchant of Death.” An unnamed senior EU official told NDTV television channel that she will be trying to boost sales of EU-made military equipment as part of reopening talks on a free trade agreement. This is all part of trying to pull India away from Russia. Von der Leyen will meet with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
