According to an Axios report May 23, some Congressional Republicans are forming a caucus bent on “pulling back” from all the wars in which the United States is involved. Sen. Rand Paul, whom Axios profiles as a leader if not the Congressional leader of this grouping, says that former President Trump is in on it, and is endorsing for election only incumbents or candidates who are committed to withdrawing the United States from involvement in foreign wars. Senator Paul has reportedly been meeting with a small but growing group in recent weeks.
