Gen. Leonardo Tricarico, former head of the Italian Air Force and head of the ICSA strategic think-tank, told national TV La7 that membership of Sweden and Finland in NATO is a destabilizing proposition. On May 8, before Finland’s official announcement, Tricarico chastised NATO sec gen Jens Stoltenberg who said that the move would stabilize the North Sea theater.
