Schiller Institute Cracks Global NATO’s ‘Narrative’ Grip on Western Nations; Now We Must Win the Peace

As war loomed, last Feb. 23, the Schiller Institute issued a call for the broadest possible international discussion of the urgency of convening “An International Conference To Establish a New Security and Development Architecture for All Nations.” To stop the drive to war, the call insisted, it is necessary “to establish an entirely New Paradigm that will ensure the security, and the economic development, of every nation on the planet.” It evoked the precedent of the 1648 Treaty of Westphalia, which put an end to 150 years of religious wars in Europe by each party committing to secure the benefit of the other, through common economic development.

The call “for institutions and individuals from every nation to step forward and join the mobilization for an international conference to establish a new security and development architecture for all nations” resonated with many and initiated a discussion process which demonstrated its power in the international dialogue between leaders and citizens from different walks of life which took place at the Schiller Institute’s April 9th conference discussing the principles upon which such a paradigm must be based.

Last week, attention to the Schiller Institute’s proposed grand design took another major leap forward, driven by the Schiller Institute’s back-to-back seminars, May 25 and 26. The first focused on how to break NATO’s expansion to Sweden and Finland, the second assembling four military and security experts from the U.S., Italy and France to dialogue with Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche on how to stop politicians’ insane drive for nuclear war.

One key result, is that the Schiller Institute is breaking through the “Global NATO” lies in “the belly of the beast” itself, the United States and Europe. People who did not believe most of the lies, but accepted the biggest lie of all, that “there is nothing we can do to stop them,” are beginning to respond. Seeing the forces gathering around the Schiller Institute’s unrelenting drive to make development the new name for peace, people are regaining some courage.

This breakout is reflected in the accelerating number of views of retired U.S. Col. and State Senator Richard Black’s incredibly powerful, one-hour-plus April 26 interview with the Schiller Institute, “The U.S. Is Leading the World to Nuclear War.” Views of the English original of that interview were approaching the half-million mark by last week. After the Schiller Institute’s two seminars last week, views of the original interview by Black are zooming upwards again, increasing since then by 120,000—over 30,000 of them in the past day alone. Subtitled into Portuguese ten days ago, views in that language are over 16,000. The number of views of the Spanish translation are nearing 6,000. People are subscribing to the Schiller Institute YouTube website by the thousands, and beginning to study its material.

The neo-Nazi-dominated Kyiv regime, and its foreign masters, are not happy! On Sunday, President Zelenskyy’s National Center for Defense and Security issued its fourth (minimally) warning from its Center for Countering Disinformation that the Schiller Institute, Helga Zepp-LaRouche, Colonel Black, and others participating in the seminars are wrong, and spreading “Kremlin propaganda” when they show that the Ukraine regime must be pressured to come to the negotiating table.

This breakout is none too soon, and must become much, much bigger and broader in its strategic scope. The breakdown of the international economy is crashing around our heads. You will read below more on how and where the gigantic “everything bubble” fed by $10 (ten) trillion issued in funny money to save the speculators by the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Treasury since September 2019 (with Europe and Japan pumping nearly another $20 trillion on top of that), is blowing out. This is not only bringing down entire developing sector nations—Pakistan and Sri Lanka being featured today—but also in sanctioned-slaughtered Europe, and also the U.S. housing bubble and productive sector, leading to talk of a million layoffs coming this summer.

The path to peace lies through economic development, and that requires the emergency creation of a new international financial system, based, not on speculation, but on the greatest global development effort in the history of mankind.

This will be the subject of the Schiller Institute’s June 18-19 international conference. There answers must be given to the question posed by Zepp-LaRouche in the discussion period of the May 26 Schiller Institute event:

“Even if one gets a negotiated solution for Ukraine, which I think is absolutely necessary, even if that would succeed, we are not out of trouble. We are still in a hyperinflationary blow-out of the financial system, which is the real locomotive for the war danger, because that is what motivates these people. Because rather than reforming and recognizing that the neo-liberal system is finished, they would rather go to war.

“Therefore, as long as you don’t address the underlying reason, which is the collapse of the financial system, I don’t think there will be a solution. I absolutely think that what I have said in terms of the international security architecture and development architecture, is the only way. And that brings up, naturally, the big question of: Is there any hope to get the United States to change their course?”
