Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS reporters that Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will participate in this week’s St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Other heads of state or government have also confirmed their participation, but Peskov wasn’t giving out those names, “in order not to give more work to U.S. ambassadors,” who are busy putting pressure on the authorities of other states, he said.
President Putin will speak at the Plenary session, and “the President has planned contacts with these foreign leaders…. We are expecting a very, very interesting plenary session,” he commented.
