Neo-Nazi Aidar Battalion Surrenders in Lugansk

The major development since yesterday seems to be the surrender of the neo-Nazi Aidar Battalion in the settlement of Metelkino, an eastern suburb of Severodonetsk. “In the suburbs of Severodonetsk, in Metelkino, the surrender of the Aidar militants together with their leaders was confirmed,” Rodion Miroshnik, the Lugansk People’s Republic Ambassador to Moscow, wrote on Telegram, TASS reported yesterday. Miroshnik added that the village has been completely cleared from militants and “recently invincible Nazis” are now testifying about their deeds and drawing on maps the location of their “associates” in Lisichansk and its suburbs.
