Zelenskyyy Promises Not To Attack Russia with U.S.-Supplied Rocket Launchers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy granted an interview to Newsmax yesterday in which he promised that the Kyiv regime has no plans to attack Russia. “I know that people in the United States are saying, or someone in the White House is saying, that we might be using them [U.S.-made multiple-launch rocket systems] to attack Russia. Look, we are not planning to attack Russia. We’re not interested in the Russian Federation. We’re not fighting on their territory,” he said. In reality, Ukrainian forces have already launched numerous cross-border attacks into the Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia.

“Seventy kilometers is more than enough for us,” Ukrainian presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovych said on May 30, commenting on what he said were the missiles the U.S. would send Kyiv. He also threatened an “exemplary tantrum” if Washington changed its mind.

Zelenskyy also called Ukraine the world’s “defensive perimeter.” “We are the defensive perimeter,” he claimed. “We are the strong defensive perimeter. It’s not something conventional. It’s not something natural. That’s the physical barrier made up of our people.”

Zelenskyy also told Newsmax: “God is on our side” and Russia and Putin represent the “dark power.” “We have to realize who is the dark power: it’s Russia,” Zelenskyy asserted. “And Russia is not going to stop in Ukraine, for sure. And the other countries, the former Republics of U.S.S.R. and the members of the EU—or some of them are already NATO member nations—they’re already under threat.”
