Klaus Müller, a Green ideologue and head of the Federal Network Agency, is presenting man-made hyperinflation of energy prices as if it were God-made, and therefore unstoppable. Müller said German households must prepare for increased heating bills of up to €3,000 per year in an interview with Focus magazine. “Even if we don’t get into a gas emergency, gas will remain expensive,” Müller said. “The consequences of the current gas shortage have not yet reached consumers in terms of price. For a family, this can quickly mean an additional burden of €2,000-€3,000 a year. That often means that the next vacation trip or the new washing machine is no longer possible,” says Müller. Germany is threatened by “gas poverty.”
