NATO Members Sign Accession Protocols for Sweden and Finland

After wrapping up negotiations yesterday, NATO ambassadors signed accession protocols today for Sweden and Finland in the presence of the defense and foreign ministers of both countries. “This is a good day for Finland and Sweden and a good day for NATO,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said. “With 32 nations around the table we will be even stronger and our people will be even safer as we face the biggest security crisis in decades.”
