Trump Returns to Washington More Discombobulated Than Ever

Former President Donald Trump returned to Washington to give a speech at the America First Policy Institute, an organization that had been set up by former members of his administration. While pointing to the disastrous situation in the U.S. cities, the economic collapse, the drug trafficking, and the “thugs” arrayed against him in the various Democratic investigations of him, he called for relocating homeless people to tent cities in the suburbs, additional jail time for immigration violations, a return to “stop and frisk” and restrictions on medical treatment for transgender youth. He also called for reducing the federal government, firing career civil employees, and vetting a new generation of loyalists to take positions to enact conservative change.
