Former Marine intelligence officer and former UN weapons inspector in Iraq Scott Ritter continued his campaign to expose Sen. Chuck Schumer’s war on free speech during an interview posted on Aug. 9 on the YouTube channel “Issues that Matter with Cynthia Pooler.” Ritter took up the cases of three of the people named on the Kiev regime’s Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) blacklist published on July 14: U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (KY), Ritter himself, and LaRouche candidate for U.S. Senate in New York, Diane Sare. These three Americans, along with dozens of others from all over the world, were labeled “information terrorists” by the CCD during a July 14 roundtable discussion at which representatives of the U.S. State Department were present. The roundtable discussion was organized by a nongovernmental organization created by an act of the U.S. Congress and convened by Ukrainian civil servants who are being paid with U.S. funds allocated by the U.S. Congress, all in legislation, Ritter stressed, supported by Chuck Schumer. The U.S. State Department representatives at the July 14 roundtable were approving of the Ukrainian blacklist, thus tearing up the targets’ Constitutional rights. Ritter stressed repeatedly that the U.S. Congress is prohibited by the U.S. Constitution from passing any law that abrogates the Constitutional right to freedom of speech, yet, that is exactly what Schumer has supported.
Ritter then listed the “crimes” of the three people he named as among those on the list, that warranted their being labeled “information terrorists” by the Center for Countering Disinformation with the approval of the U.S. State Department. Sen. Rand Paul’s crime was calling for an inspector general to track and audit where the military and other aid that the U.S. is providing to the Kiev regime is going. Ritter said that his “crime” was that of speaking the truth! Ritter pointed out that he had previously described Ukraine as a NATO base, which it was from 2015 to 2022; for calling the alleged Bucha massacre a fake, in which the killings had actually been carried out by the Ukrainian security service; and for saying that U.S. policy was to use Ukraine as a “proxy” against Russia, which was confirmed by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin himself in May.
Diane Sare’s “crime,” Ritter stated, is that of taking on Schumer himself in this year’s election. Schumer, Ritter said, supported the blacklisting of his political opponent for daring to challenge “the idiocy” of U.S. policy in Ukraine, which Ritter confirmed is idiocy.
Even if you disagree with Diane Sare, Ritter continued, Schumer used his position to pass a law which spent U.S. taxpayer money in Ukraine to promulgate a blacklist that included his political opponent. Wake up, New York, Ritter implored, you have a U.S. senator who is opposed to the U.S. Constitution.
A review of Cynthia Pooler’s YouTube channel shows that she has interviewed Ritter about a dozen times, sometimes with other guests, over the last four months, and Diane Sare twice.
