Austrian Anti-Inflation Rallies Draw 32,000

“We don’t want millions, we want to eat, heat, live” (“Wir wollen keine Millionen, wir wollen essen, heizen, wohnen”), read one of the posters displayed at the mass rally against inflation in the Austrian capital Vienna on Sept. 17. The Saturday rally, along with rallies in nine other major cities, was organized by a coalition of numerous organizations led by Austria’s national labor federation, ÖGB.
