In a segment of an interview released on Sept. 16, Joe Biden told CBS News that Russia would face severe consequences for using weapons of mass destruction, either chemical or nuclear, in Ukraine, in order to counter the supposedly successful counteroffensive by Ukraine in Kharkov.
“Don’t. Don’t. Don’t. You will change the face of war unlike anything since World War II,” Biden said, adding that he would never tell what the U.S. response would be, but assuring, “It’ll be consequential.”
Biden went on to add that Russia would become “more of a pariah in the world than they ever have been,” although Biden assumes that in the event of any use of nuclear weapons on the planet, there would be anybody left to name-call.
