Vassily Nebenzia, the outspoken Russian ambassador to the United Nations, denounced “our dear former Western partners” for making a mess of Afghanistan and now demanding that Russia pay to rebuild the country. Nebenzia was responding to a speech by U.S. ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
