Elon Musk’s Peace Proposal Enrages Ukraine and Lights Up Twitter

On Oct. 3, billionaire eccentric Elon Musk put out a poll on his Twitter, which has 107 million followers. He wrote: “Ukraine-Russia Peace:

“-Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people.

“-Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake).

“-Water supply to Crimea assured.

“-Ukraine remains neutral.

“Yes or No?”

As of this writing, there were 1.9 million votes, 38% Yes and 62% No.

He followed it 15 minutes later with a reply to the first tweet, that: “This is highly likely to be the outcome in the end—just a question of how many die before then.” [https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1576969255031296000 ]
