Turkish Foreign Minister Tells U.S. To Stop Bullying Saudis, Lift Sanctions To Lower Oil Price

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has some tough words for the Biden administration regarding its policies on Saudi Arabia and sanctions against Venezuela and Iran, after OPEC+ agreed to cut oil production by 2 million barrels/day. Speaking at a press conference yesterday following a meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Mersin province, he described the Biden administration’s policy toward Saudi Arabia as “bullying,” which he called “inappropriate,” the Cradle news platform reported yesterday.
