U.S. Congressman Fears Its Arming Ukraine Puts U.S. on Collision Course with Another Nuclear Power

At least one member of Congress has expressed concern that the Biden Administration’s policy towards Russia might lead to World War III. “American taxpayers don’t have $70 billion for Ukraine. I fear our increasing involvement is a threat to our national security and sets us on a collision course with another nuclear power,” Matt Rosendale, Montana’s sole representative in the U.S. House, and a Republican, wrote on Twitter on Oct. 4. “The U.S. has come to Ukraine’s aid and put significant sanctions on Russia—it is time to turn our attention and spending to more pressing issues at home like the crisis at our Southern border, an explosion of fentanyl use, and rampant crime.” (https://twitter.com/RepRosendale/status/1577347661593808897 )
