Botswana Chooses Indian Firm To Construct 300-MW Coal Power Plant

According to the South African publication Engineering News, the Indian construction firm Jindal Steel and Power Ltd has been chosen as the contractor for a 300- MW coal-fired power plant to be built in Botswana. The southern African nation has large coal reserves — more than 200 billion tons — and two currently active coal mines.
