Charles Freeman on G20 Summit, Xi Put Forward Concrete Proposals

Veteran American diplomat Charles Freeman was interviewed on China’s CGTN, where he was identified as the Chairman of Projects International, Inc. Three video selections were made available today:

1. On the Biden-Xi meeting: “It’s good that the two leaders met and pledged to try to remain in contact, and, more important, to empower their subordinates to work on addressing the many issues that divide the two countries. The question of what this meeting actually meant will only be answered in the followup by those subordinates. I note that Secretary of State of the United States Antony Blinken is to go to China early next year, and I hope that produces concrete progress.”
