Russia Launches Another Round of Missiles at Ukraine's Energy Infrastructure

Russia launched some dozens of missiles today, once again at Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Ukrenergo, the national power grid operator, reported that emergency power outages have occurred in all regions. Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported more power shortages, along with the cutoff of water supplies.

The Odessa Oblast has no electricity, according to local authorities. Kharkov’s subway system is paralyzed due to a power outage. More such outages are reported in Lviv, Nikolaev, Khmelnytsky, Sumy and elsewhere.

Ukraine was already missing around 40-50% of its electricity after the last strike on Nov. 15. Russia has now carried out one such attack for each of the last three weeks, strongly suggesting, as Russia’s UN representative Vassily Nebenzia stated today, they intend to finish their mission; and the purpose of the strikes is to stop Ukraine’s military in their tracks and to stop weapon shipments coming into the country from reaching the front. It is a pretty clear message. (https://russiaun.ru/en/news/231122_u )
