The Brimstone 2 missiles which the U.K. is now proving to Ukraine are laser guided and very modern. They are air-to-surface missiles with a range of 60 km; if they are fired from land their range is only 12 km. Since Ukraine lacks much by way of air-launch capabilities at this point, it remains to be seen how much effect this will have on the actual battlefield—although the biggest danger is their deployment as part of a British-authored utopian warfare provocation, such as an attack on ships in the Black Sea, against Crimea, etc.
