An explosion tore open a Russian natural gas pipeline today several hundred kilometers east of Moscow, causing a major fire, as reported by RT. At least three pipeline workers died in the incident. Maintenance work was ongoing on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod pipeline when a fire broke out. A gas leak is suspected.
