Halloween was a month ago, but quite a witches’ coven collected in Kiev today for what was titled the “Kyiv Security Forum” (KSF). Billed as “All for Victory,” it was convened to strengthen the “international solidarity against the Russian enemy.” Of course, the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, who bragged in 2014 that the U.S. had spent $5 billion to overthrow the elected government of Ukraine, was a featured speaker. The KSF, you see, was founded by Nuland’s “Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation,” named after post-coup Ukraine’s first Prime Minister, who was personally selected by Nuland and U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt in February 2014.
Other luminaries included the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam; four-star U.S. generals (retired) David Petraeus and Wesley Clark; President and CEO of the Atlantic Council Frederick Kempe; U.K. Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons; and Ukraine Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.
