The Western Media May Hate Putin, but Russians Don’t

A Russian poll issued earlier this week found that, as of November 2022, some 78% of Russians trust President Vladimir Putin—up from 64% one year earlier. Valery Fyodorov, Director General of the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center, reported that the poll of 1,600 adult Russians also showed that Putin’s approval rating last year was 60%, while “In 2022, the activity of the Russian President was approved in general by 75%.”
