A day after the showcase visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Fox News host Tucker Carlson responded to some of the hysteria and hypocrisy of the American Congress. “How can any self-respecting American sit there when some foreign dictator shows up wearing his workout clothes in the U.S. Congress,” and starts demanding we give him more money, Carlson asked. “How could you sit and put up with that?” He mocked that Washington was ablaze with talk of Zelenskyy as the modern Winston Churchill.
He then played a clip from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who on Dec. 21 said that the war in Ukraine will only end “When Russia breaks and they take Putin out.” If we push for a ceasefire, Putin will only use that to rearm and start over again, according to the Senator. Therefore, “we’re in it to win it, and the only way you’re gonna win it is to break the Russian military and have somebody in Russia take Putin out to give the Russian people a new lease on life.”
