US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit China beginning Feb. 5. The visit has been planned as a follow-on from the Biden-Xi meeting at last year’s G20. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at the regular press briefing today, “We welcome Secretary Blinken’s visit to China. China and the US are in communication on the specifics of the visit.”
