Each party gets allocated 1-minute TV spots during elections, according to its seats in the parliament and other categories. The BüSo got two such 1-minute slots for the upcoming repetition of the Berlin state parliament elections on Feb. 12. This election, which took place simultaneously with the federal elections in 2021, has to be repeated, due to many technical and organizational shortcomings and the chaos which went along with it in Berlin. Theoretically, also the federal elections in Berlin would have had to be repeated, but the German parliament voted against it.
