TASS reported that on Jan. 7, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova characterized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskys’s decision to revoke the Ukrainian citizenship of 13 priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) as “Satanism.”
“And this is on Orthodox Christmas! This is pure Satanism,” she wrote on her Telegram channel on Jan. 7, commenting on information on the relevant decree by the Ukrainian leader. (https://t.me/MariaVladimirovnaZakharova/4536 )
On Jan. 7, Ukraine’s Levy Bereg news outlet reported, citing its sources, that Zelenskyy had signed a decree stripping 13 priests of the UOC of their Ukrainian citizenship. This comes on the heels of the Zelenskyy regime kicking parishioners out of their own church on Orthodox Christmas.
